- Henry Mark Holzer
- In college (BA, NYU, 1954), I studied Russian and political science and later served in Korea with United States Army Intelligence. After law school (JD, NYU, 1959) for some 55 years I practiced constitutional and appellate law. From 1972 to 1993 I taught at Brooklyn Law School, where I am now professor emeritus. This American Thinker article, and the Victor Davis Hanson piece you forwarded before it, sadly justify a pessimistic view of the future. I remember Rand saying, "It is earlier than you think," meaning that bad ideas at the base of our culture still held sway and that there was a long and rocky road ahead.
I wish I could refute the conclusions in those articles.. or think of a cure or even an escape. I can't. Progressivism appears to have evolved, like an ever-mutating virus, till it reaches the ability to completely overwhelm its host's defenses.
