First Review of Fake Warriors (Second Edition)

From time to time I'll reprint reviews and comments sparked by the publication of the Holzers' Fake Warriors (Second Edition): Identifying, Exposing, and Punishing Those Who Falsify Their Military Service.

The review that follows was written by a pilot who was a prisoner of war in Hanoi for 5 years and 8 months.

"This is an important book on the impact of Fake Warriors on our society.   In the area of POWs, there are over 3,000 Fake Vietnam POWs pretending to be one of the real 662 Vietnam POWs who got out alive.  The VA reports that they are giving VA benefits to 966 Vietnam POWs, yet only 530 of the 662 actual POWs are alive.  The VA is giving VA benefits to 286 Desert Storm (1991) POWs, yet there are only 20 of the actual 21 Desert Storm (1991) POWs alive. This book is a must read for anyone interested in Fake Warrior fraud."
